  • Introduction of Socket Items (lvl 380): Flameberge, Sword Breaker, Rune Bastard Sword, Deadly Staff, Frost Mace, Dark Stinger Bow, Absolute Scepter, Inberial Staff, Crimson Glory, Frost Barrier, Guardian Shield, Salamander Shield, Titan set, Bravery set, Divine set, Seraphim set, Hades set, Phantom set, Destruction set, Royal set.
  • Introduction of Socket System: NPC Seed Master, Seeds, Level 1 (Mono) Seed Spheres (Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Lightning) and Bonus Socket Options.
  • Expansion of Master Skill Tree (rank 4).
  • Added map LaCleon (Raklion) and boss Selupan. Entry level requirement of 270.
  • Addition of new skills (Strike of Destruction, Expansion of Wizardry, Multi-Shot, Recovery, Flame Strike, Gigantic Storm, Chaotic Diseier).
  • Summoner character class expansion (Lightning Shock, Berserker, Pollution, Book of Lagle, Demonic Stick, Demonic set).
  • Various system improvements: events, PC bang point system, stat Fruit system, changes to item upgrade probability, changes to 3rd Class Quest conditions, Castle Siege gate and statue update, changes to Zen drop system, adjustments to Master Skill Tree, adjustments to bonus exp for Gold Parties.

  • Added map Santa Village. Introduced as part of Christmas Event that ran from 16th December 2008 to 30th December 2008.
  • Added Snowman Transformation Ring.

  • Added Fortune Pouch. Introduced as part of Lunar New Year Event that ran from 20th January 2009 to 3rd February 2009.

Additional update #3 for Season 4 (22.01.2009)

  • Introduction of level 380 Items for Summoner (Storm Blitz Stick and Storm Blitz set).

MU Korea (muonline.co.kr) did not use this terminology. These were just two updates released on 02.04.2009. However, Global MU Online (GMO) released these updates named Season 4.5. In addition, this terminology also exists in MU Online community.

  • Introduction of NPC Moss the Gambler in Elveland and new items (Excellent Brova, Excellent Striker Scepter, Excellent Aileen Bow, Excellent Chromatic Staff, Excellent Raven Stick).
  • Added map Vulcanus (incl. Duel Arena aka the Colosseum, Gladiator's Honor buff). Entry level requirement of 30.
  • Introduction of the new Duel System: all Duels between players automatically now take place in Dual Arena aka the Colosesum.

Additional update #1 for Season 4.5 (11.06.2008)

  • Stat modification to Divine Archangel weapons. Changes to Chaos Castle rewards. Jewel of Chaos added as a drop in map Vulcanus.
  • PC/HWID limit removed, allowing players to run multi-clients.
