  • Introduction of new Ancient Set items (Anonymous Leather set, Anonymous Large Round shield, Mist Bronze set, Berserker Scale set, Cloud Brass set, Rave Plate set, Barnake Pad set, Sylion Bone set, Minet Sphinx set, Drake Vine set, Fase Silk set, Elvian Wind set, Karis Spirit set).
  • Added Fortress of Imperial Guardian: Varka event.
  • Added Doppelganger (Double Goer) event.
  • Adjustments to Quest Window 'T'. Introduction of Tutorial Quest.
  • Introduction of Elf Soldier (Shadow Phantom Soldier) beginner quests.

  • Introduction of Gens System.
  • Introduction of Cash Item Shop (X-Shop) and Goblin Points (GP), which replace PC bang point system.
  • Introduction of Small Wings (0 Level Wings): Small Wings of Satan, Small Wings of Heaven, Small Wings of Elf, Small Cape of Lord, Small Wing of Curse (Small Wings of Mistery).
    • MU Korea (muonline.co.kr) did not announce Small Wings update-patch separately. Cash Item Shop (X-Shop) was introduced on Season 5 Part 2. Although this update does not mention Small Wings, it includes photos of Small Wings in the Cash Item Shop (X-Shop). In addition, Small Wings were initially obtainable from Cash Item Shop (X-Shop), not in-game. All in all, it is safe to assume that Small Wings were introduced on Season 5 Part 2 together with Cash Item Shop (X-Shop), not before that.
  • Addition of new Elf Soldier (Shadow Phantom Soldier) beginner quests.

Season 5 Part 4

This is the first time MU Korea (muonline.co.kr) use terminology Part and name this update Season 5 Part 4. 'Season 5' was released on 20.08.2009. and only two updates were released in between Season 5 and this Season 5 Part 4 update. Therefore, we can reliably assume the first release was Season 5 Part 1, followed by Season 5 Part 2 and Season 5 Part 3. This being the last update named Season 5 Part 4 officially. P.S. Webzen Press Release (company.webzen.com/ko/presscenter/press/) first use terminology Part during Season 5 Part 3 update, the content corresponds to MU Korea (muonline.co.kr) Season 5 Part 3 content.

  • Introduction of Master Skill Tree system for Summoner.
  • Introduction of Level 2 (Di) Seed Spheres and Level 3 (Tri) Seed Spheres. All Seed Spheres are still 5 elemental: Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Lightning.
  • Expansion of maps and addition of new monsters. Maps affected: Aida, Kanturu, Swamp of Peace (Swamp of Calmness), LaCleon (Raklion).
  • Introduction of sub-missions to Elf Soldier (Shadow Phantom Soldier) beginner quests.
